a school trip to Italy with visits to Rome and Asis helped students understand our cultural background
Halina Birenbaum, a survivor from Auschwitz concentration camp , gave us her testimony of the darkest shadows in Nazi Germany. Students listened to her experience and asked her questions about the Holocaust. Her words, without a single glimpse of hate, were a reminder of all those conflicts in the world which should be solved with dialogue and understanding of diversity.
